Devotees gathered on Monday (7/2/12) evening for Guru Purnima celebarations. Devotees completed the Guru Mudi vratha -a 21 day practice of austerities- and offered the rice and coconut to the Master symbolizing surrender of Karma and Ego at the Master's feet. After a Pratyaksha pada puja and Aarati there was Guru Purnima message from Swamiji, the most anticipated highlight of the day.
Essence of 2012 Guru Purnima Message - "Continue sharing and exploding in living enlightenment."
Satsang was held in Scottsdale where local devotees gathered to enjoy Swamiji's discourse from Madurai and to celebrate Swamiji's coronation as 293rd pontiff of Madurai Aadheenam. Phoenix volunteers came to gather and volunteered to arrange and ship murthis to other temples in the country. On Saturday, devotees enjoyed Venketeshwara Abhishekam and special Laxmi Puja. Phoenix Devotee offered Padya Puja to Swamiji in Biddadi, while his family offered Padya Puja to Swamiji from Temple in Phoenix. Devotees gathered at the Nithyananda Phoenix Vedic temple to celebrate this auspicious event.
